I wish I could make this game available to others in this post, but instead I am the one that needs it. Here's the wikipedia article about the game. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_Jones_And_The_Fate_Of_AtlantisNext to Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, it's probably the best Indiana Jones game ever. I only ever had the demo, but I really liked it. I'm a big fan of the Monkey Island games, and Fate of Atlantis was like the Indiana Jones version of that. It also used the same engine, the Scumm engine, I think. It's a point-and-click adventure. I think there are two versions of the game. The newest version of it for PC seems to have had voices even. I did a search for a torrent on isohunt.com and found this... btjunkie.org/torrent?do=download&id=4324d0bfacbe52e7b9062d94165e4a749f82a9f0d440.torrentIt says it's the version of FOA with speech, so I downloaded it, and can't get it to work. I'm worried I might have to mount it on a false drive or something. There's an exe file in it that I tried, but then it just opens up a dos emulator window which says "can't open monster.sou" I'm trying to get this to work on a pc with windows 2000. I could run it on a system with xp or vista if I had to, though. If any help can be given on this, I'd be most grateful. I can't find anything more than a demo available for the game. EDIT: I don't know if posting a torrent like or the word "torrent" is safe, so I'll let you edit it out if necessary Cobra.

Torrents are fine to post, since we are not the one who is hosting the torrent.
Now then Give me a list of all the files you downloaded. including the extensions. To do this go to the folder where the files are and click tools > folder options... > view tab > then uncheck the Hide extensions... button. Now go to each file in the indiana folder which should be 160 mb or around there make sure this is true. And rename them and copy the entire name and past into a text document or something then post all the names.

OK, here are the file names in the game folder. Hope that's what you needed.
ADLIB.IMS ATLANTIS.000 ATLANTIS.001 ATLANTIS.EXE ATLANTIS.ICO HELPME.DOC HELPME.EXE MONSTER.SOG ROL_330.IMS ROL_332.IMS ROL_334.IMS ROL_336.IMS ROLAND.IMS SPEAKER.IMS ATLANTIS
That last one there says it's a shortcut to MS-DOS. I've tried it, but it just has an error. From reading the help document, it looks like it's been ripped right from the original cd. The whole thing originally downloaded as a rar file that included some other folders added by the uploader, like the game soundtrack, manuals and cheats, and cover art. The actual game folder was about 74.8 mb. Seems about right.

Try right clicking on the ms-dos thing and change the compatibility mode to something a bit older then 2000

I haven't gotten around to messing with this yet, but I'll let you know if that works when I do. My brother thinks he can help too, so we'll see what happens. Thanks for the input.

You might have to use a program such as Dosbox (http://www.dosbox.com/) with older games such as these. Good luck

Thanks. I got it working, though. Played it all the way to Atlantis, but I never finished the game. That maze was just too confusing. Walking around Atlantis takes forever.
